I had to work a little overtime so I treated myself to a tuna bowl from a restaurant near my current school. I didn’t expect it to ome with so many sides. There was grated mountain yam, mixed with a raw quail egg and red miso soup.
Gluten free noodles in a kombu/soy broth with veggies and a hard boiled egg on top.
Rice with homemade tamagoyaki, fried tofu, herbs, scallion, and umeboshi. I think I should be able to make it to lunch.
After a late night trip to the 24/7 supermarket, I enjoyed a quick bit of sashimi. I microwaved and seasoned some rice out my freezer and added some seared bonito and salmon. Finished the dish with some green onions.
Open-faced tuna fish salad with scallions and dried cranberries, salad, and vegetable soup with noodles.
